By using highly purified freshly isolated liver cell cultures or by combining in vitro and in vivo assays, we are able to determine the exact mechanisms behind (unwanted) liver uptake. Through close collaboration with our customers we can provide indepth understanding of the uptake mechanisms of new biopharmaceutical compounds, which may enhance the development of these compounds significantly.

Revealing the uptake mechanisms of a new compound in an early stage of the development, facilitates the decision to continue, change or terminate the development in an early stage, potentially saving development costs.
