Liver uptake & ADMET studies

Decision Support

By combining D’Liver’s in vitro and in vivo assays we can determine the exact mechanisms behind liver uptake. We work closely with clients and provide strategic consulting aiding in accelerating and improving the development of biopharmaceutical compounds. By using highly purified freshly prepared cultures of hepatocytes, Kupffer cells (KCs) and liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs), we can determine the exact mechanisms of unwanted liver uptake.

  • Specific receptor(s) responsible for uptake
  • Binding affinity of a compound to receptors
  • Metabolic fate/degradation

Key benefits and features

  • Accelerate or terminate the development at an early stage
  • Reveal liver uptake mechanisms at an early stage in development
  • We use only cells that have been freshly prepared from intact liver
  • Encompass all three major liver cell types
  • Studies will be tailored to our customer’s specific requirements
  • Swift response to requests
  • Quality in execution and delivery
